I've been doing the artwork for Area 1851, a hysterical historical-accurate board-game designed by Justin Blaske, published by Game Salute.
It's the first time I do all of the artwork in a game, it's been a lot of work, but really satisfying (it'll be one of those boxes bulging with cool stuff). Dann May has done a wonderful job with the layout design.
I'd really love to show more, but the cover's as far as I can go for now.
Soon the kickstarter campaign will go live, and along with it, some more previews...

I had the chance to work with my buddy Paco Rico, we did all the card artwork for the main game, and Dann May did an awesome job with the box and card layout.
I had a lot of fun putting together this band of misfits, some are made up and some are portraits of pledgers from the kickstarter and the Game Salute crew.
I think it's a great looking game, the box came in the mail some months ago ...and man does it weigh! It's absolutely full with stuff, metal coins, counters, wooden gangsters, tuck-boxes...
Zach & friends enjoy NP!
